A veteran of Canadian theatre, musical theatre and
opera Michael is currently a company member of the
Charlottetown Festival. This season Michael is playing
the role of Matthew Cuthbert in "Anne of Green Gables".
Last season in addition to "anne", Michael performed
in "Mary Queen of Scots-The Musical". He was seen as
Judge Turpin in CanadianStage's production of "Sweeney
Todd". While working for Livent he appeared in "Ragtime",
"Showboat", "Phantom of the Opera" and "Joseph and
His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". For the Stratford
Festival Michael appeared in "Candide", "West Side
Story", "Dracula", "Measure For Measure", and "Twelfth
Night". At The Grand Theatre in London Ontario he was
in "Shenandoah", "C.N.E.", "Man of La Mancha", and
"Fiddler on the Roof". Film and TV credits include
"Blue Murders" and "Relic Hunter" for CTV., "Harrison
Bergeron", Alliance Atlantis, "Charlie Grant's War",
CBC, and "The Joe Torre Story", Turner Network. Michael
can be heard on the Canadian cast albums of "Phantom
of the Opera", "Showboat", "Joseph", and "Ragtime",
for Polygram Records. For the Canadian Opera Company
he appeared in "The Daughter of the Regiment" and
"Don Giovanni".
